Parking Discount:
We offer discounted parking stickers for the LAZ garage.

Upon entering the parking structure, push the Hourly Rate button to receive your ticket.

When you board the Detroit Princess, request a parking discount sticker from the front desk. Place the sticker on the back of your parking ticket before you pay at the garage exit. The sticker will reduce your parking cost.

When exiting, scan the ticket, then scan the discount sticker you picked up from the desk on Deck 1 or the Gift Shop on Deck 2.

After you park:
When you park, you will get a ticket upon entry and pay with CC/Debit when leaving. After you park in the garage, step outside and across Atwater Street to the River Walk. You will pass the 20 Atwater Detroit Police Station. Once on the RiverWalk, you will see the Detroit Princess, a 2-3 minute walk away. You will also pass by an Underground Railroad sculpture and plaque with historical information before you reach the boat.

Detroit Grand Prix & Ford Fireworks Parking Note:
During the Detroit Grand Prix (May 29–31, 2026) and the Ford Fireworks (June 22, 2026), there are significant road closures in downtown Detroit. If your cruise falls on or near these dates, we strongly recommend using Google Maps or Apple Maps for real-time navigation around road closures. Allow extra travel time and consider arriving early.
