NO CRUISE. DOCKSIDE EVENT FOR THE BEST VIEWS..

Includes your meal and a Live Motown Show.

The Boat will be located at our normal dock and will be stationary all evening. The Detroit River is closed to all vessel traffic and the only way the Detroit Princess can be any closer to the fireworks, than a mile away at Belle Isle, is to remain dockside. The advantage of this is you will have the absolute closest seats of any venue in Detroit; the fireworks will be exploding basically right above your head during this spectacular fireworks extravaganza!

The old Ford Underground Garage with entry at 30
Jefferson will be open, will fill up fast. If parked there, you will walk down
Bates Street to Atwater to get to the Detroit Princess. We will have a team
member at the barricade there down by the river to assist you past that area.
Other parking options if full or traffic is backed up is “1st Street Garage” and “Premier Parking Millenium Garage” both
of which are located close to 432 West Congress St, Detroit. You will need to
walk to Bates St on Jefferson to access the riverwalk or there is a set of
stairs near the UAW building which you can take down to the riverfront, in
addition you may be able to walk through Huntington center (COBO), if they are
allowing people to enter the building.

Another option is on the
East side of the Rennaisance center, “Port Atwater
Garage” located at 200 Beaubien St, Detroit, again walk to Jefferson to
Bates Street to access the riverwalk.

Huntington Center (COBO)
may also be available but take note they do usually close the doors to the
building on the riverfront in the evening so you will have to enter the parking
garage at the East Jefferson building entrance.

If you park near the
sports arenas, you can take the People Mover to the riverfront area. Good stops
would be the Renaissance center, or the Financial District stops. Make your way
to Bates Street off Jefferson. You will not be able to access the riverfront
anywhere except on foot from Jefferson to Bates Street. All other entrances to
the riverfront are closed. The Q-Line is another option, park further out of
the city and take the train in. It runs most the way from 8 Mile on Woodward
Ave all the way downtown, once at the end of the line walk toward the river and
down Bates St.

We recommend being here earlier rather then later as the freeways coming into the city get very congested and most roads do close sometime around 6pm. At the point you cannot get to the parking lot near the boat you will need to park wherever and make your way on foot.

All passengers have to be on board by 8:30pm, as the Coast Guard and the Police Department will not allow anyone to be on the Riverwalk after this time. You may have to park on surface streets somewhere west of the city and walk in once they shut the roads getting to the river.

Outside seating for everyone during the fireworks, inside seating during dinner and to enjoy the entertainment. What better place to enjoy the fireworks then in air-conditioned comfort right up until they explode!

Included is our carving station where our chefs will carve to order Prime Rib. Along with Buffet Entrees of Baked Chicken and Marinated Portabella Mushrooms with sides of Cheese Tortellini, Fresh Steamed Vegetables, Chef's Choice of Potato, Michigan Toss Salad with fixings and Dessert. Cash Bar

This is a long evening aboard and due to city police regulations that night, passengers that board will be on for the duration so we do not encourage bringing children. If you opt to bring a child, all children/infants require a ticket for this evening.

There are no refunds in case of a weather event. Tuesday is the rain day if it does get washed out. However dinner and entertainment will only be provided on Monday Evening.  If event is totally cancelled for whatever reason, a credit will be given for the event that can be used at a later date.
